Showreel
A bit about me
Hi, I'm Maxine and I've been editing for nine years. I currently live in Vancouver, and have worked with some of Vancouver's best production companies, including Pink Buffalo Films, Dead Famous and True Calling. Some of my clients include Plenty of Fish, Telus, Capital Direct, and VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation.
In 2018, I co-edited Botero, a feature film on one of the world’s most popular living artists. The film was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Picture Editing for a Feature Length Documentary (Leo Awards, 2019) and Best Editing in Feature Documentary (Canadian Cinema Editors, 2019).
Between 2015 and 2017 I worked at UQx editing educational content. Prior to this I edited short documentaries and branded content at Seeding Time Pictures. In my spare time, my love for film has led me to continue to edit short films. I particularly enjoy cutting drama, sci-fi and comedy.
My extensive experience has made me a fast, creative and passionate editor. I'm skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro 7, and DaVinci Resolve.
In 2013, I graduated from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia with a Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production.
